At each event we strive to bridge gaps in community, culture, age and gender through a day of community engagement and ideally some kind of act of social good. In the past we have done book bag drives, winter clothing drives, free haircuts etc for the youth in the community. Plus watching some of the world’s most conscious MC’s make the video, makes for a great day.

By painting the mural with messages of peace and community involvement as well as bringing the musicians and community leaders out to engage the the youth we believe we are able to inspire participants and neighborhood residents to participate in local programs for social good for years to come.

Again this is a clean POSITIVE MESSAGE – NO RELIGION NO POLITICS! More of a call to action for people to get involved –  themes like – feed our babies – educate our children – come together – music and art for a good cause- hip hop saved my life etc!
