Merriam-Webster defines pimp as: a man who makes money illegally by getting customers for prostitutes. Substitute drugs for prostitutes for this case of corporate pimping.

In the early 1980s, crack cocaine invaded America landing in urban cities, taking minds and incarcerating a huge junk of black America.

The drug also sent thousands of users to crack rehab centers all over the country.

While the face of crack in the media was black and brown those who profited most went unnoticed.

History often repeats itself, first crack and now “molly” the once designer drug is coming to high schools and hoods near you. Now those who market the drug are corporate entities that still hide behind black and brown front men– rappers. The drug pimps in this case are, Monte and Avery Lipman of Universal Music Group, the largest music corporation in the world.

Cash Money Records is now acting as the corporate liaison for Universal Music.  The hip-hop label best known for dominating the culture since 1991, is now Universal’s second tier drug pimp.

The Cash Money Records release of Tyga’s radio promoted single “Molly” is evidence that drug dealers have moved from the corners to the board room. Enlisting some of raps hottest stars like Tyga and Wiz Khalifa adds the needed street credibility to promote MDMA-better known as “molly”.
Here’s evidence that one of the world’s largest companies seeks profits at any and all cost.

I’ve been searchin’ everywhere and I can’t seem to find…
Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly
Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly
[Verse 2: Wiz Khalifa]
Lil’ bitch, my section is important – my new car’s imported
My bank account is enormous – weed so loud it’s distorted
Got champagne and we pourin’ it – she poppin’ it and she snortin’ it
My iPhone recordin’ it – if I want it I can afford it
Bitch I’m Young Khalifa, fillin’ my lungs with reefer
Got champagne and we pourin’ it – she poppin’ it and she snortin’ it
My iPhone recordin’ it – if I want it I can afford it
