Neilson Music, compiled sales of CD’s, vinyl, digital downloads and streaming to find out the most popular music in America.

Nielsen has released the full Year-End Music Report, “a summary of consumption trends and consumer insights for 2015.”

The Grammy Awards had a six percent drop in black viewers from last year’s broadcast, it still turned in an impressive 28 million in overall audience and 4.4 million in black watchers (2+).

NBC had 14.9 million black viewers for eight of its shows to take week’s most watched network title. CBS was a rare second with 9.1 million across seven shows. Fox was third with 7.2 million for its five charted shows.
